The electricity consumption is expected to be reduced by 6.4 million kilowatt-hoursand the emission of gases by 4,700 tons per year.

Constellation will bring the light

The Company Constellation, a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation based in Baltimore, is responsible for there form that is part of the Port Authority’s Energy Savings Performance Guarantee Program. The program provides resources to develop and implement energy-saving opportunities.

The project that has already begun to take place and is expected to be finished by the end of 2019, it consists of an investment of 7.9 million dollars and includes the update of the Vehicle Security Center, the Central Chiller plant, the fare and platform area PATH, the Transportation Hub and common areas.
