Smeg never ceases to amaze us. The prestigious Italian brand has decided to renew itself on its 70th anniversary by extending the family of appliances with a launch and a limited edition in its 50’s retro line.

The brand that has magically combined aesthetics and technological research for 7 decades, bringing beauty and functionality to the kitchen, celebrates in style with the incorporation of products that not only represent the philosophy of Smeg, but also add more prestige to the “Made in Italy” seal of excellence.

Design, bread, and technology

Large families will no longer have to wait for one of their members to finish toasting bread to their liking. To celebrate its 70th anniversary, Smeg has decided to present a new version of the toaster in its 50’s Retro line which has two independently adjustable slots.

Just like the 2×2 and 2×4 versions, this toaster is a wise combination of design, durability, and maximum performance. The new toaster (Model TSF03PGEU) allows you to insert 4 slices at the same time, which can be adjusted individually, to the taste of the diner, thanks to the 6 toasting levels and the three predefined programs that can reheat, thaw, and make rolls.

Made of stainless steel, this toaster has a power of 2000W and can be acquired in a wide range of colors (black, red, white, chrome, cream, pastel blue, pastel green, and pink). In short, this will be another appliance by Smeg capable of adding a distinctive and unique touch to any kitchen.

Another great surprise for the celebration of Smeg’s 70th birthday is the launch of a commemorative limited-edition in association with Disney. The brand has chosen the iconic FAB28 refrigerator to be the bearer of an original drawing of the most iconic Disney character, Mickey Mouse, which also celebrates this year its 90th anniversary.
This limited edition will only include a total of 90 refrigerators. Each of them will have a silver plaque indicating its unique number.

Although the association between Smeg and another renowned brand is nothing new (the brand has worked with Dolce & Gabbana, Mini, and Veuve Cliquot, among many others). This special edition will transform the renowned refrigerator FAB28 into a collector’s item that brings together the most beautiful aspect of children’s dreams with the most prominent technology at home.

This collector’s refrigerator that has a “True Original” custom sketch of Mickey, in which Mickey tries to reach the handle of the appliance, has all the comforts offered by a FAB28. Adjustable glass shelves, metal wine racks, LED strip lights, ice compartment, and a Life Plus drawer that keeps fresh fruits and vegetables longer. Also, this refrigerator has a total gross capacity of 281L and offers an energy rating of A + + +.
