Minimalism and elegance are some of the qualities of Gaggenau’s personality. Therefore, when we incorporate some of their appliances into our kitchens we are adding those qualities to this important part of the home.
This is why the refinement and technological details of the latest line of the brand’s wine cooling cabinets are no surprise: the new RW 282 and the renewed RW 222, that will be released in March 2018.
The demanding elixir
Keeping a good wine stored is a more difficult task than you might think. Obviously,
Gaggenau knows well that the art of preserving good wine consists in keeping it under a specific temperature and in conditions of light and humidity that do not affect the quality, aroma, taste, and color of the refined beverage. That’s why, both the RW 282 and the RW 222, have precise adjustment systems which guarantee the enjoyment of this traditional beverage at home.
Elegance and personality
Originally, wine coolers had a traditional design with a rustic wood or metal cover. One of the novelties that Gaggenau has introduced is the possibility of coating them with stainless steel sheets -including the control panel- and using UV protection glass on their front panel, creating a vision of simplicity and refinement to the kitchen space.
Versatility
These cabinets can combine the temperature by zones, so as to be able to maintain stored wines at a higher temperature and keep those for immediate consumption at a lower temperature. All in a range between 5° and 20° through the use of tactile touch keys and a digital screen.
All risk protection
In both models, the delicate bottles are protected by wooden trays that isolate them from the vibrations of the compressor. In addition, the interior of the cabinets has carbon filter that regulates the humidity percentage and the special edition has LED lighting that does not affect the color of the bottle or its content.
Impressive capacity
The cabinets of the 200 series have an impressive storage capacity. In the case of the RW 282, it can hold up to 80 bottles of regular size and the RW 222, although it is quite smaller, can keep perfectly 48 bottles.
Without a doubt, a wonder for the most demanding tastes.
