Once again, the year begins by gathering the leading brands and experts from the kitchen and bathroom industry for 3 days (January 20^th to the 23^rd), at KBIS 2020. This edition -just like the one in 2019, will take place in Las Vegas- is scheduled to be held along with the IBS (International Builders Show) for the sixth consecutive year as part of the Design and Construction Week.

The event, whose location will be the Las Vegas Convention Center, will present the latest products, offer networking opportunities and unparalleled educational initiatives in the kitchen and bathroom industry. According to the estimates of its organizers, close to 95,000 industry professionals will have the opportunity to examine an exhibition floor of more than one million square feet and enjoy the new developments that more than 600 participating exhibitors have to offer in 2020.

As usual, a series of events will be organized around KBIS, including the Opening Ceremony, which this year will have Earvin “Magic” Johnson as guest speaker and the Opening Party/Industry Awards and Kitchen and Bathroom Design Awards. An important attraction in the 2020 edition of KBIS is the Voices from the Industry Conference which will offer sessions related to a variety of important topics related to design and business, providing 20 CEU opportunities.

Other attractive features of this event will certainly be the KBISNeXT! stage experience, the Discovery District, the Lighting Pavilion, the KBIS EDIT, the Showcase for Living in Place, the Design Milk X Modenus Talks Lounge, and the DCW Outdoor Living Pavilion as meeting spaces not only for featured product on display, but also to facilitate conversations about issues related to design and home technology.

The sample of exhibitors of this edition, perhaps one of the largest so far, will be nurtured by traditional brands and newcomers that expand the market and offer builders, designers, architects, and the general public innovative options that will take important spaces of the home to a higher level. Once again, brands included in the portfolio of LCI are among these outstanding exhibitors:

• Liebherr (central pavilion, stand C8016) this German brand based on innovation and whose appliances are characterized by a sophisticated and elegant design, is present again at this year’s event. This family business with more than 60 years of experience in terms of premium refrigeration, won the 2019 German Design Award, both for its SBSes 8486, and for the wine bar EWTgb 3583 (see Liebherr, a brand that collects awards), it’s quite possible that these appliances are part of the sample of KBIS 2020.

• Smeg (central pavilion, stand C8901) the Italian brand of beautiful and constantly evolving appliances, will also be present at the Las Vegas event. The “Made in Italy” style of Smeg that has become very popular in the United States and that stood out in KBIS 2019 with its 50’s retro line, the 24″ wine cooler, the Portofino range (the Portofino refrigerator) and the 24″Classic Speed oven, goes all the way in this new edition.

This time the brand will showcase its uniquely designed appliances among which will probably be the special edition FAB Mickey Mouse Refrigerator (FAB28URDMM4) that the brand made in collaboration with Disney for last year’s celebration of the 90^th anniversary of this emblematic character (see Smeg renews itself at 70).

So, we just have to wait for the information that is being gathered from the conferences and the comments of the influencers invited regarding the new trends and product launches that will be made at this year’s event.
